On behalf of Ontario's 14 Local Health Integration Networks (LHINs), Health Shared Services Ontario (HSSOntario) coordinates a centralized provincial prequalification and qualification process for home and community care service provider organizations.
HOME CARE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES PROCUREMENT MODERNIZATION
As of July 1, 2019, procurement of ME&S by LHINs must meet the requirements of the Ontario Public Service Procurement Directive.
Planning for procurement of ME&S for fiscal year 2020-21 is in progress to ensure compliance with the OPS Procurement Directive. Please check back on this website for further updates.
HOME CARE SERVICE PROVIDER PREQUALIFICATION
Health Shared Services Ontario (HSSOntario), on behalf of the LHINs, administers the annual Prequalification Process ("Prequalification") of prospective Nursing, Personal Support, and Therapy Service Providers. Only prequalified service provider organizations are eligible to submit proposals for LHIN procurements.
HSSOntario has launched the Home Care Service Provider prequalification process for fiscal year 2020-2021 for Nursing, Personal Support, and Therapy Services. Request for Proposal documents and other supporting guidelines for Prequalification have now been posted on Jaggaer Ontario Tenders Portal.
RENEWAL OF QUALIFIED STATUS
HSSOntario posts a Request for Qualification annually on Jaggaer Ontario Tenders Portal to renew the qualified status for service providers that currently hold LHIN contracts. It is important that qualified service providers update their contact information whenever it changes by emailing prequalification@hssontario.ca
