Joyce will provide strategic leadership to the Finance and Administration, Provincial Corporate Services, and Privacy and Risk functions. In this capacity, Joyce will play an important leadership role in preparing the OACCAC on financial and audit efforts over the next several months.
Joyce has work experience in the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors with a strong background in corporate services leadership including procurement, risk management and finance. She has held executive roles as the CEO of various Agencies, Assistant Deputy Minister and Executive roles in the Ontario Public Service including 3 years in the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. Joyce has also been involved in a number of start-ups for not-for-profit corporations with a particular focus on board governance and providing effective support to the operation of board committees. She is currently a member of the Boards of Directors for the Parkinson's Society of Canada and Evergreen. Joyce has broad functional expertise spanning corporate governance, complex project management and government and agency relations.
